Some dogs fall into anorexia (loss of appetite) or, on the contrary, in bulimia. It happens they swallow non-food substances: gum, shoes, stuffed toys, etc..

Sleep disorders are common: the animal is depressed, sleeps all the time, either it doesn't sleep enough and wakes up frequently for no reason. Sometimes, it isolates itself as if it sulked or, conversely, it walks into the house, noising with a plaintive voice. It's used to do excessive licking, scratching up self (cf. automutilation). Concerning older animals,it appears sometimes a certain irritability and mood disorders due to the aging brain.
