10,000 complaints are filed each year for noise caused by barkling dogs.
The sound of animals may, in some cases, disturb the peace of others by sound repeated assaults. The offense can be punished, acording to article 222-16 of the new penal code, with a one year imprisonment and 15 000 €.
In addition to penal and civil decision, the judges decide the measures to stop the trouble:
- Installing a wind-cut separation to prevent the dog from approaching the neighbor
- Nnoise barrier building, land slope setting
- Limiting the number of dogs allowed in the property
- Removal of animals, for instance by delivery to the SPA
- Termination of the lease
But (the judge do not think of it), the simplest way is calling a professionnal who, most of the time, will find a solution.
